The results of the REFLEX trial really confirm that a B cell inhibitor or B cell blocker such as rituximab has the capability of reducing structural damage and inhibiting radiographic progression. It is the only biologic to date that has been evaluated and been shown to inhibit radiographic progression in patients that have failed on TNF inhibition.
